www.wjhl.com/national-coronavirus-coverage/walmart-to-give-cash-bonuses-to-hourly-associates-hire-150000-additional-workers/ Yahoo Ralph. It is about time they recognized the extra effort that is being put forth by associates working under increased pressure and being forced to work harder, longer, and faster during this logistical nightmare. $300 isn't a fortune, but I am sure that there is not ONE employee that cannot find a place for that money to be put to good use. I am hoping that the bill that provides a government check for each individual in the country passes. It will be very helpful to people who are displaced or have had their hours cut, and also help with feeding hungry youngsters who will be home and snacking instead of in school and eating a school lunch or breakfast.

I'll believe it when I see it. And I am sure, as with our quarterly bonus, it will be taxed - to - death.

I also read Walmart is hiring an additional 150,000.They will need it. I witnessed two older black women grab over a dozen packages of bacon along with all the packages of spare ribs. Amazing.

And it will be between 35-40%, unless people hurry & change their withholdings on their w-4. You can dodge the high tax rate by claiming more dependents. Then later change it back. Only way to beat 'em.
