I had an appointment with my cardiologist this afternoon. As you entered the office there was a nurse that took you temperature, asked you some basic questions, asked what time your appointment was for, put squirt of hand sanitizer in your hand and directed you to a seat. They were seating patients about 10 feet or more apart, and limiting the number of people in the room. A woman came in and when asked what time her appointment was for, she said about 30 minutes later. The nurse asked her politely to wait in her car until 15 minutes prior to her appointment. It was working well. They seemed to have a flow going that had a couple of people leaving as a couple more were entering and the waiting area never had more than about 8 people sitting around.
Good visit. All is well with my heart and they told me to buy some deep moisturizing eczema cream to help heal the dry skin from the allergic reaction. Signed me up for cardiac rehab, told me that I could resume bowling, and sent me on my way.
I am cleared to bowl right when the bowling alley has curtailed and cancelled league bowling until some of the restrictions are lifted.
I stopped at a Jersey Mike's for a couple of small tuna subs for supper. It is in the new and huge Pinnacle shopping area. The major department stores, restaurants that don't have drive-thru or take out options, the movie theaters and many other businesses were closed until further notice. Jersey Mike's was open for takeout only. All the tables were stacked to the side, the potato chips and stuff that customers can help themselves to were all moved behind the counter. People were ordering and standing back until their sandwich was ready before stepping to the counter to pay. I went into CVS to get the cream for my itch. The store was almost empty but the drive thru line for the pharmacy was about 10 deep. They had a big display of 6 roll packages of Scott toilet paper right in the front of the store with a sign that said "limit two packages per customer."
