SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Onondaga County has confirmed a second case of the novel coronavirus.
The patient is the husband of the woman who was confirmed as the first case Monday morning.
Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon said the man has been in isolation at home.
“This finding was not unexpected due to close contact with his wife,” he said. "This transmission demonstrates why it is so important to practice personal protection measures and social distancing.”
