We woke up to just enough snow to half assed cover the grass and the closing list is as long as your arm. I guess they got more in the higher elevations and over in the SW Virginia coal fields, but even here in Bristol everyone was in their usual panic. Everything is either closed or on a two hour delay including the Bristol schools. Our road is bare and dry and I would assume that the rest of the Bristol area is also. It is a good thing I don't need anything from the store. It must be treacherous out there with that 1/2 inch of snow laying on the grass adjacent to the road, lol. I should probably stock up on the necessities just in case we get another 1/2 inch. I am glad that I am not up there in CNY this morning. It looks like another "snowmageddon" in the next couple of days. Especially for the areas to the North of Utica. Stay warm and stay safe. I have a doctor's appointment at 11:15. I certainly hope that they have plowed the parking lot so that I don't end up stuck in that 1/2 inch of fluffy snow. ROFL!
