It is awsome to know that some of that technology originates right there in the Rome NY. Star Wars was a big thing when the base was up and running. It was all classified, but it was a topic of conversation on an unclassified level. People spoke of "programs" that were being worked on in a general context.
Rome Labs has been on the cutting edge of many technological advances and discoveries, in radar, communications, laser technology and on and on. We should be proud of the facility and the engineers and scientists that work there.
