wibx950.com/woman-who-aided-two-killers-in-ny-prison-escape-released/I find it hard to believe that she is being released after serving only 4 yrs. The article also says that it will be a conditional release and she will be supervised by parole folks in the North country. I wonder if she will go back to Dannemora. I wonder if her ex-husband still lives there. I imagine that the chances of a welcome home ticker tape parade are pretty slim. I don't know if I could hold my head up and walk the streets if I were in her shoes. She exposed the general public to danger from two violent criminals. Thank God that one was terminated, and the other captured before their desperation caused them to hurt or kill someone else. My opinion is that four years was no where near enough punishment for the crime she committed.

She going back to the small community she lived in and will be an outcast there the rest of her life. Probably wind up living on welfare forever. But, perhaps it will cost the taxpayers less than her being incarcerated.

Wasn't her husband a CO? Is so she'll get half of his pension, unless she signed off. If not, there's nothing he can do about it.

I think you are right. I think her hubby was a CO. For her to go back to that area to live, where half that small community works at the prison, she will be about as welcome as a turd in the punch bowl. I can't imagine her wanting to go back there unless it was a condition put forth in her parole.
