Experts are saying if you go out in public & when you return home if you wash your hands you can cut your risk of contracting the flu by 80%. Also, keep your hands away from your face so picking your nose is a no-no. Just thought I'd throw that in also. Thanks!

I have gotten absolutely paranoid and obsessive compulsive with the hand washing. I use two or three wipes at the grocery store to sterilize the handle on the buggy, and wash my hands as soon as I get a chance. If I see an alcohol based hand sanitizer I take a squirt. I keep one of the small dollar store bottles in my truck and that gets a squirt when I come out of a store. About that nose picking thing. Do ya mean that we can't pick, roll, and flip out the window until after flu season??  |

When going to Walmart I always go first to Mens Room and wash my hands abd ti dry I carry brown paper napkins that I get for free at McDonalds. On the Bus I sanitize once I sit down since I usually hold onto the metal bar to get into the Bus and into my seat. It is amazing how many times we expose our hands to a potential flu or cold source throughout the day. When I get into my apartment I always first wash my hands since everything outside of my apartment is contaminated with something. I do not shake a persons hand or allow my face to be kissed by others who wish to say hello greeting my sister is great for that. Blah! And I would never allow a dog to lick me. There was this lady on the Bus last week and when the person behind her was coughing she turned to her with her spay can of lysol and let her have it. Of course a heated argument began I glad she did it once we arrived at Walmart. Always something of interest.
