wcyb.com/news/local/closure-uncle-bucks-fish-bowl-and-grill-inside-bass-pro-shopsDoes the Utica Bass Pro have a bar/restaurant and a bowling alley? I have always wondered about the logic behind putting a bar, restaurant, and bowling alley in a store that caters to outdoor activities. It was not like the old traditional lunch counters we are familiar with from 50's and 60's. There was a bar that served bar food and sandwiches, and an 8 lane bowling alley. All of the times that I have shopped there I have absolutely NEVER seen anyone either at the bar or in the bowling alley. We have two 24 lane bowling alleys in the immediate area. Why in the heck would anyone want to go bowling at Bass Pro?

No the Utica one has this huge fish aquarium. The guy who takes care of it has to get into a wet suit with oxygen tanks and go into it. The fish are very large too. I think some rather large Bass.
