Bush signs new wiretapping lawWonder how the democrats' congressional ratings will be effected. They already enjoy a much lower approval rating than the president, think they can achieve a negative approval rating?

A quote from the article: "Its passage was a major victory for Bush, an unpopular lame-duck president who nevertheless has been able to prevail over Congress on most issues of national security and intelligence disputes."
Gee, I wonder why. With all the posturing by Democrats, it's apparent by the voting that some of them get it. Even if the media doesn't.

This was actually a fairly balanced report about the legislation. Yesterday's NY Times opinion was blatant lies.

The beginning of many patriotic stories have begun; "The president needs you in order to save the county" and the person, group, or company patriotically says "Yes" without question.
Now Hollywood must change the answer scenario to, "I'll get back to you Mr. President after I talk to my lawyer!"
God help us survive the next few years!

And make sure you thank Mike Arcuri for being the driving force behind the bill HR 1285.

And make sure you thank Mike Arcuri for being the driving force behind the bill HR 1285. I just did. I asked if he was proud of himself now?

So far, no. But he hasn't answered me before so I don't expect it now.
