What in hell difference does the political party affiliation or person who appointed them to the bench make when it comes to a federal judge performing a civil marriage ceremony? New York is saddled with Cuomo for as long as downstate and the city are able to keep re-electing him. NY has no term limit for governor.

When Cuomo & his cronies were being invesitgated for corruption 3-4 years ago he issued an order shutting down the probe. The Onondoga County DA who was on on the panel was infuriated at what Cuomo did but there was nothing he could do about it. I forget his name. Fitzpatrick?

This is just not right. Obviously he hates Trump with a passion even to the point of punishing others who have some form of affiliation with Trump. Talk about passive aggression. This just wreaks of it.

Yes BHU, it was Fitzpatrick. He was a very effective DA for Onondaga County and handled so real high profile cases if I remember correctly. I have been down here for 17 yrs but I can still picture his face from seeing him on the news quite frequently years aqo. Was he possibly involved in prosecuting some sort of major scandal with city officials or government local government corruption of some sort?

He may have. He's been in office for years, still is.
