I think that 30 plus police vehicles parked along the shoulders of I-81 is a bit of overkill. Who the hell was answering calls and protecting the rest of Syracuse and Onondaga county while these vehicles were all responding to incident involving the one vehicle occupied by the three suspects? What were the risks of an accident involving two police vehicles when they began responding from all over the area and converging on I-81? It must have looked more like a motorcade than a pursuit.
