Many people love their mashed potatoes but if you have never tried mashed cauliflower you can forever replace mashed potatoes. I buy the frozen type that is cooked in the microwave. I guess you can make it but who wants all that work!!!!!

We still eat mashed potatoes most of the time, but for a change of pace we have eaten the mashed cauliflower with butter, and even on one occasion with gravy. I love cauliflower. I like to roast it in the air fryer. I spritz it with olive oil, sprinkle it with a bit of garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Just as it has begun to brown around the edges we put pepperjack or American cheese on it and let it melt. If you make it, be sure and place foil or parchment paper under it. Otherwise the cheese makes a horrible mess to clean afterward.

You are making my mouth water. Steak pizzaiola? Yum. The steal pizzaiola is something I have never eaten, but looking at recipes for it, it looks like a great entrée, and with all the ingredients that go into it, it would make one hell of a gourmet grade sandwich. I would make enough of it to purposely have some left to put on a crusty Italian roll of some sort, for a sandwich the next day.

You are making me jealous. We warmed up some left over ham, had a nice green salad and some steamed Brussel's sprouts, and yes, we steamed some cauliflower in the microwave and mashed it with butter and sour cream. I was thinking about your steak pizzaiola while I was eating my ham. My supper was good, but thinking about yours sort of took some of the shine off of it, haha.
