This woman obviously doesn't understand the meaning of "serving at the pleasure of the president." She obviously was not bringing the president pleasure so she was removed and no longer serves. End of story. Schiff may pursue a charge of intimidating a witness against Trump as another impeachable offense? He just keeps pulling these half dead rabbits out of a hat. It appears that the democrats are grasping at straws and running in several directions at the same time out of sheer desperation. How can the witness be intimidated when she knew nothing of the tweet until Schiff read it to her? This entire farce is a shameful waste of taxpayer money. We are so far into Trumps first term that they should be focusing on defeating him at the polls in 2020, and should carry their asses back to the legislative chambers to actually legislate. Something they haven't done much of in recent times. Republicans are not entirely innocent either. Mitch McConnell is said to have over 400 bills setting on his desk that he has refused to bring to the floor of the senate for a vote. With a republican majority in the senate I don't see and justification for it other than to obstruct the democrats and play the same divisive games that the democrats are playing.

Trump, Guiliani & the two thugs who he runs with who were just arrested wanted Yovovovitch out of Ukraine because she was investigating corruption in Ukraine. Why did Trump smear this woman to Yalensky? She's never been suspect in any wrondoing, in fact a number of GOP house members praised her today. Trump is supposedly concerned with corruption in Ukraine but never raised the issue in any calls with Yalensky. What he wanted was dirt on Biden, who is the candidate most likely to give him a run for his money in 2020. What we have in Trump is a criminal who right now is under federal indictment in N.Y. If he was a private citizen he'd either be facing a trial or be in prison, which is where he belongs.

I watched most of the hearing yesterday but I didn't hear anything about her doing any investigation. By what authority did she investigate anything? I didn't vote for Trump and have many policy issues with him. Don't care much for his management style either. Impeachment is supposed to be about crimes. Recalling an ambassador no matter how it is done is not a crime.

I doubt that anyone likes Trump's management style, and I don't agree with ALL that he does, but to "dig dirt" on Biden? I have a sneaking suspicion that there is a lot of dirt to be dug on Joe Biden and his son, just as there is on the Clintons. Trump may be under indictment in NY, but I am sure that the indictment is being orchestrated by the Democrats with nothing more than an evident political goal.
I believe that Trump, as president, has every right to request an investigation into Joe Biden's dealings with the Ukraine, and I also believe that it should also include investigations into the Clinton's and Obama's dealings with Russia as well as the Ukraine. It is a situation that should be DEEPLY investigated by Trump's justice department. It is something that should have been at the top of the agenda the day after Trump was inaugurated.
As far as dismissing ambassadors, Trump should have started doing that the first day he was in office. Obama fired 44 diplomats the day he moved into the Whitehouse and Trump should have followed suit. I don't give a damn how many presidents a diplomat has served under. If they don't concur with or support the present president they should be replaced with someone that does.
Yes, Trump is a blustering buffoon with all his tweeting and personal attacks on those that attack HIM, but I support a lot of the things that he has accomplished economically and diplomatically. He is far from tactful but if he promises the voters something, he keeps his promise. So far I haven't see him selling any uranium or weapons to our enemies, or arming any drug cartels. I fully support his efforts to stem the flow of illegal immigrants, and the wall will be a good start in at least slowing the flow. It will not stop it completely, but hopefully it will prevent them from walking across the Southern border by the thousands for us, the taxpaying citizens, to support with social programs and handouts while neglecting to provide those same benefits to our own citizens in need.
Politics is a cesspool or bubbling cauldron of unscrupulous, back door dealing, bottom feeding, self indulgent, crooks that has always simmered in the background and has simply boiled over in Washington since 2016. Had Hillary been elected, we would have witnessed what it is really like to have corruption at the Whitehouse level.
We need to find another Ronald Reagan and I have not seen any such individual on the campaign trail, and neither did I see such a candidate during the primaries running up to the 2016 election. We ended up with a president with a laudable agenda, but a rude and crude personality.
Bring me a democratic candidate that is not pro-abortion, pro open border, pro new green deal and Medicare for all and I will vote for them without hesitation. Unless that were to happen I will vote for Trump again in hopes of seeing a viable candidate that will fill the bill in 2024.

Hunter Biden is a private citizen. Period. He can male $1 million dollars a month if a company is willing to pay him. It's none of Trump's or anyone elses business what he does. If he breaks the law he'll be held accountable. All Biden Sr. did was demand that the corrupt prosecutpr be removed, yep the one who half of European leaders also wanted gone because he was corrupt. So we're to believe that Biden wanted a corrupt prosecutor removed so that he would be replaced with one who would look at Biden JR's business dealings. Yea, ok.
The conspiracy theory that the Dems want Trump gone is ridiculous. Yes, the Dems want Trump gone via a coup so that Mike Pence can become Prez. What's scary is that people actually fall for this crap.

Yes he is a private citizen and can legally accept money from an overseas company. At that point ethically Joe Biden should have recused himself from dealing with Ukraine not acting as "point person" (whatever that means) for US dealings with Ukraine. That is what ambassador is for. Terrible judgement on his part.
Can you think of another instance in which a US VP has called a foreign president and asked him to fire a member of his cabinet?
I don't think the televised hearings revealed any crimes. At the end of the day I was sorry I wasted my time watching it. I could have played games on my tablet.

He has a little less experience than Mayor Palmeri. Would you expect Palmeri to negotiate a nuclear deal with the Russians?

Biden Sr. & Jr. weren't an issue as far as Ukraine is concerned until last summer when he emerged as the frontrunner against Trump. This Country needs to decide whether or not we're going to put up people who demand that foreign governments investigate private U.S. citizens for political gain or whether or not we're going to ask for foreign interference in our elections, which is what Trump & Guiliani did. That is the issue no matter what side of the aisle we're on.
Thats all folks!
