It was certainly a historic day. You must recognize a lot of the places in the video CB. What a wonderful day for those whose families were reunited and were once more able to travel freely back and forth.

When I was there the Soviet troops were in complete control. For more than a year I was right on the border with guard dogs and mine fields separating us from the Russian troops.
My baby brother was stationed there when the wall went down. He bought me back a piece. It is an anonymous piece of concrete on my dresser. I doubt that anyone will recognize the significance when I pass.
