Clipper, I notice you don't have an avatar. If you want this one, I'll send it to you.

Thank you anyway Dave, but I don't really want any #1 designation. I am thinkin along the lines of something lighter or humorous in nature. I appreciate your offer though. Hell, if ya sent it to me, I would not know how to put it up on the site anyway without guidance from you or Ralph, haha. I have toyed with the idea of a pic of the "Welcome to Tennessee" sign up the road, or a pic of the speedway, but I am still thinking and not in any hurry. I attract enough attention, both positive and negative without any graphics. Thank you for the kind thought anyhow.

Aww, I thought it was a natural.... a chief at putting out fires. Oh, well, I'll save it for another day. ")

Hey, how 'bout the ensignia of an E-9 in the Navy? Or Skipper from Gilligan's island?
Hmmm ... Skipper <-> Clipper.
You know? Now that I think of it, has anyone ever seen Skipper and Clipper together in the same room before?

:)Haha, E-9?? How about E-5 being as far as I progressed. haha. A firechief putting out fires? I guess I have envisioned myself lately as inadvertently starting them or fueling them. I am trying not to be a chief and just be a nozzleman following more experienced and competent firefighters, LOL.
I look like the skipper, but act more like gilligan, and Thelma and Bobbbiez can attest to that fact. Got any pics of the skipper available. (hell maybe michelin man or pillsbury doughboy would be more appropriate, hehe)
Can ya change to #1 on the helmet? Put a 7 on there. I rode "rescue 7" for most of my professional firefighting career. That would be cool!
I honestly don't want to be designated as chief of anything. I am seriously sitting back and still licking my wounds from my first foray into moderation and administration. haha. Our leaders are much more experienced and astute in the matters of moderating a board than I.

OK, look above, again, at the number on the hat. I'll also look and see what I have for cuts of boats and captains.

My avatar is kinda personalized. Its actually one of my x-rays from 1997 when I got into a car accident and broke my right femur in 4 places. The avatar shot is an x-ray done after surgery, with the rod and screws installed. You could say its unique to me!
