www.wjhl.com/news/local/scso-man-arrested-in-sullivan-county-after-threatening-to-get-naked-and-jump-white-house-fence/I cracked up when I read this story. The boy is from Oak Ridge, just west of Knoxville. He was picked up just North of the exit that we use to access the Interstate to go South. He had all sorts of paraphernalia and some pot in the car. I can't help laughing when I envision the jackass climbing the fence at the White House and streaking across the lawn in search of Donald so that he could bring him some joy. Thankfully he was stopped here before he got to Washington and got his dumb ass shot trying to climb the White House fence naked. Probably a good thing he didn't get there. Aren't there spikes on the top of the iron fencing? Headline news: "man dies while impaled by the scrotum on White House fence." Some days the news is more entertaining than the regular programming.

They have barriers that keep tourists far away from the fence now, and with all the motion detectors and other devices the secret service would be on him like white on rice before he ever got over the fence.
He is in our local county jail right now on drug charges for pot he had in the car along with a glass pipe such as is used to smoke crack or meth. The secret service will be addressing his plan for the White House at some point, but right now he is being held on the drug charges. It cracks me up to even envision this pot head running naked across the White House lawn. LOL

I may have told the streaking story before, but I will tell it again.
I was driving for a Utica area college sports team while working for Central NY Coach Lines. We had attended a game at the state college campus in Binghamton. It was mealtime when the game was over so we stopped at the Ponderosa on Rt. 12 on the Northside for the buffet.
When the meal was pretty much over a group of the guys head to the men's room A few minutes later we heard whooping and hollering, and a commotion as they came from the men's room with their clothes under their arm, circled the dining room once and ran out the side door to head to the bus. Needless to say, the manager was not happy, the coach was REALLY not happy, and a trooper responded to the incident and threatened to take them all in for indecent exposure.
I never heard what sort of follow-up disciplinary action was taken, if any, and needless to say, I declined any future assignments to drive for that particular group again.
It reminds me now of ANOTHER bus driver story. CNY Coach had two 49 passenger buses similar to city bus but with reclining seats. They did NOT have a restroom. They occasionally used them for NYC trips. I was on the way to a Yankee game when the Yanks were playing out at Shea Stadium during the building of a new Yankee Stadium. The group I had on the bus was a group from a Utica bar that shall remain un-named. They had the usual baseball charter goodies onboard. Lots of sandwiches, Bottles of booze and soda, and two half kegs of beer in tubs of ice, with one in the front and one in the back of the bus, both tapped and flowing.
When going to NYC, most of our charters stopped at the New Baltimore Service Plaza at Coxsacki, just below Albany a ways. The cafeteria had windows lining the front wall, looking out over the area along the curb where buses would line up to discharge and load passengers. Well, with families looking on from the cafeteria windows, the guys on the bus decided that they had to pee too badly to wait until they could get inside to the restroom. They lined up along the side of the bus, facing away from the window thank goodness, and peed in the gutter along the curb. Needless to say, the group was asked to leave and told that they would not be served, and to never come back. A trooper showed up and herded them all back onto the bus, told them how disgusting they were, and told me not to stop again until I got to the stadium. On the way home that night I stopped at another service area because New Baltimore serves both sides of the thruway. I parked behind the building with the trucks, out of sight of the car parking area, so that the drunks could all pee without being in view of anyone.

Three of my friends and I did it also at College. LOL. All that happened to us was the Dean talked to us. Others followed suit but the whole thing died out fast.
