I just ran out to the drug store to pick up a prescription. There was a guy ahead of me in line at the pharmacy who had undergone hair transplants. OMG. It looked as though it must be painful. It also looked a bit ridiculous. The entire top of his head looked similar to an attempt to start a lawn with those plugs of Zoysia grass that they used to advertise in the mail-order catalogs. I don't know if those plugs of hair are supposed to spread like rhizomes or if a person just lets them grow long enough to comb and cover a bald head. At any rate, I thought it looked sore as well as ridiculous. I think that I can buy a lot of sunscreen or baseball caps with what it cost for the procedure. I am 73 yrs old and I don't really expect to have hair like Elvis Presley, and I get by quite well without a ponytail or a man bun, hahaha. Vanity can be a cruel mistress.

ROFLMAO!!! I suppose if you're young enough it might be worthwhile. At my age, why bother. I can only imagine what the price might be.

I wonder if it requires daily watering like a Chia Pet, haha.
The only other person I ever saw with hair plugs was the former mayor of Utica. He was in the elevator with me once when I went to city hall years ago. They looked strange seeing as how I had never even heard of the procedure prior to that.
I know that you can go to Lowe's and find pallets of sod all ready to lay out and water. I wonder if you can go to an upscale barbershop in Hollywood or someplace and find packages of potted hair plugs, ready to plant or 12"x12" sheets that can be cut to fit the area where it is needed. LOL. I wonder if you would have to wash your hair with liquid Miracle-Gro or something similar.

LOL yup it is true. I saw a guy on the Bus here in Utica a few years ago who had the back of his head near the top reseeded. He said his insurance paid for it. I see the commercial of TV the one with the guys say: I love my hair. With that one they somehow attach a expensive wig to the top of your head. I think is is Bosley. www.bosley.com/
