NO BAKE LEMON PIE "Cool and easy--even your kids can help you make it! They'll love the pudding and cream cheese filling and the graham cracker crust." Ingredients 1 Pie Crust 2 cans (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 3/4 cup lemon juice Directions Pour two cans of sweetened condensed milk into a mixing bowl Add Lemon Juice and Stir Pour into the Pie Crust and refrigerate for a couple hours Whipped cream for garnish  |

I didn't see any mention of the cream cheese in the recipe, or the pudding other than in the first sentence. Where did you see the recipe? Is this the complete directions? It sounds good but the recipe doesn't seem complete.

I'm interested as well, Clipper. The post is confusing and doesn't look like the final result would be very wonderful if made as written. Maybe the Fruitloop needs to rethink the Cheerio thing and clear this up for us.  |

I suppose he could be a frosted flake in a world of shredded wheat. Yeah, there is something missing. Kathy makes a cream cheese filling for a strawberry pie in a graham cracker crust. 2 bricks of Philadelphia cream cheese, a cup of confectioners sugar, and a regular size tub of cool whip ( not the large). She beats that all together until well blended and fluffy. Then it goes in the refrigerator until it sets up. She then stirs a tub of the strawberry glaze into a pint or so of berries. If she uses the small-sized Keebler crust it will make two 8 inch pies. She puts the berry mixture on wen she serves it so that it doesn't make the pie filling loose and hard to slice and serve.
I can almost see the recipe that PB posted being similar with lemon juice added to the sweetened filling and whipped cream on top. It just seems that the recipe would not be sweet without some sugar. Even a pie that has a tart flavor needs a little bit of sugar to round out the flavor.
Check the recipe again PB. Kathy and I want to try it, but want to make sure that the recipe you posted is complete. Thanks.

I guess we will have to try it PB. The mention of pudding and cream cheese is what confused me. Does the sweetened condensed milk set up like pudding when it is refrigerated?
I will say KATHY will have to try it. She is a fan of lemon pie. Me? Not so much, although I will certainly try a slice.

There is no cream cheese in this pie!!! Only unsweetened condensed milk and lemon juice.
