www.heraldcourier.com/news/local/two-charged-with-cruelty-after-dogs-found-in-hot-car/article_b1a347bd-acdd-570c-b08d-a9f2d0cd0ccc.htmlSo many young children and animals have been in the news of late when they died after being left in a hot car. So very sad when a person "forgets" that they have their child in the back seat and later finds them dead. As for animals left to suffer in a hot car, I am glad that police are finally arresting and jailing people for animal cruelty when they leave a dog in a hot car. I got into my truck one day during the recent hot spell when it was 90+ outside, and the temperature inside my truck was 114. Kudos to the young police department K9 handler that responded to the incident. I hope that the owners are severely punished and made an example of. They look and sound like a couple of real beauties. Take a look at the second photo. The photo of their car. It harkens back to the days of hippy vans, tie dyed shirts, and makes me wonder if the dude was on some sort of hallucinogenic when he painted that thing.

There's a couple of real winners breathing air someone else can use. There was a similiar incident up here a few weeks ago where the guy had dogs locked up in a bus with no food or water. They arrested him but don't know what happened because our local news media never follows up on a lot of news stories unless they can sensationalize it.

Our tv stations are no better BHU. They say "we have a team on scene and will update as soon as details become available. Then we never hear another word about the particular news story.
