How will they right a ship that is carrying over 4000 automobiles that have most likely ended up shifted to the low side in a massive pile of wreckage? I wonder how they secure that many cars in the cargo holds to keep them from moving about in rough seas, much less in a capsize situation. Even a 600 foot ship is going to roll a bit in rough weather, even if it is nosed into the oncoming waves.

That particular ship is a RORO vessel, Roll On/Roll Off. Typically the vehicles are secured to the deck much the same way they are secured to a flatbed tow vehicle, just strap 'em down. But being rolled like that? Oh boy! What a mess that is going to be! I can't imagine there would be a vehicle on that thing worth a crap when they are unloaded. Oil, coolant, broken batteries/acid leaking, let along the physical damage! I hope the shipper has some damn good insurance.
