I don't really pay attention but I noticed yesterday gas for $2.77 in New York Mills, $2.78 at one place in Utica near River Road. The gas station across the street has it for $2.81. LOL Are those high prices?

I guess it depends on what the average is for your area. It is damned sure a high price compared to what other areas such as here or Ohio and other places where gas prices have fallen below $2 a gallon. You will know when fuel costs reach a level where the driver will ask for an extra buck to use to buy fuel for your trip to New Hartford PB.

CENTRO in Utica is sort of in a bad situation. When they raised prices the first time they really lost a lot of passengers. A couple years ago there was to be another increase but they ended up staying with the current because of all the slack they got at the meeting. Adults $1.75 one way no cost for transfer. Disabled and adults over 60 --75 cents one way with no cost transfer. I buy the IMAX Bus fare which is unlimited rides for 7 days for $7.50/ I get a months worth for $30.00 which is OK by me. I see many people who grocery shop then take the taxi back home. Of course they buy for either the month of two weeks but taxi's are expensive. $10.00 one way from Walmart North Utica to my place. I shop each day replacing what I need and that seems to work as long as I make sure I DO NOT but too many canned or glass jarred products along with almond milk or 1/2 and 1/2. Then I cannot carry it all. Which is why I invested in a good back pack. That does me wonders. Hope I can keep this up when I get past 75 to up to my 80's otherwise I do not know what I will do. Most likely have them delivered which now is a great option.

Anything under $3.00 drivers probably pay too much attention. I will be paying attention shortly. One of my sisters and her husband are visiting. We are planning a trip to Nantucket, Boston and NYC.

That was at Kwik Fil

CNY typically has some of the highest gas prices in the state. Clifford fuel has the market pretty much sewn up with their Fastracs on every corner so they get away with gouging the shit out of people. I don't bother to look anymore, it is what it is. I'm thinking of renewing my BJ's membership & buying my gas from them just so I don't have to get it from Clifford Fuel.
