SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A 30-year-old man was shot early Friday morning outside a restaurant on Syracuse’s North Side.
The shooting was reported at 1:18 a.m. at Franklin Bar and Grill, 605 N. Salina St.
When Syracuse police officers arrived, they found the wounded man who had been shot in the leg, said Sgt. Matthew Malinowski, a spokesman for the Syracuse Police Department.
The man was transported to Upstate University Hospital. His injury does not appear life-threatening, Malinowski said.
