After the all the arguing about why Obama won the the Democratic nomination over Hillary, here's a simple fact.
From the Associated Press story: Clinton, Obama could help each other financially
"The two former Democratic presidential rivals filed their May fundraising reports Friday — hers awash in red ink and his lacking the high-dollar sizzle of his previous monthly reports." (But he does have money and is in the black.)
There you have it, one's candidate's ability to raise money versus his opponent. Of course, you could argue that fact either way: Obama is a better marketer of himself or Obama has more money because more Democrats wanted him President.

Exactly! It IS really simple. Thank God it has worked out the way it has. I am personally glad to hear that Hillary is "awash in red ink." Maybe it will wash some of the stink off of the rest of her life!

Now if only new yorkers could muster enough intelligence to vote her out of office in 2012.

Now if only new yorkers could muster enough intelligence to vote her out of office in 2012. Good thought. Somewhere, someone must have statistics on the re-electability of senators who ran for President and lost. Probably Bill what-s-his-name on CNN, the guy who has all the statistics.
