Anyone watch 60 minutes tonight. I really enjoyed the segment about the young Iranian man who at age 10 taught himself to code and today wants to get more and more women into the field of computer coding which is dominated by men. God here and have a blast www.code.orgI started with coding a Dance Party.

I learned to code when I was 16 (which is many years ago). Only thing is... it was International Morse Code. I was, and am, a ham radio operator. For a few years I was in almost daily radio contact with the late Dave Griffin (N2CHI) who was a frequent and well respected contributor to Clipper's Corner. He lived (and passed away) in Murrells Inlet, S. Carolina just south of Myrtle Beach. I miss our conversations as do many of the other hams who used to chat with him. He certainly is missed here on Clipper's Corner.

That's for sure Kit. He left a legacy of photos and stories, and I gained a lot of knowledge from his posts. I think of he as well as Jon Hynes often.

I have coded a few others but there is no way to copy and paste it here. Oh well your loss I guess. Ha Ha
