While the Syracuse fans all had reason to celebrate their victory over Louisville, the entire community is deeply saddened by this freak and tragic accident. Kathy's nephew and his girlfriend were at the game but thankfully they had passed safely through the area previous to the accident.
I feel badly for both families. I had occasion to get to know the coach years ago when I had the privilege of transporting the team on a couple of occasions. My heart goes out to him. Very traumatic for both he and the family of the deceased.
