I saw a racially insensitive meme today, meant to be humorous or a joke about black people, chicken, and watermelon, but the recipe looked as though it would be pretty darned good. They took a large watermelon and cut it in half lengthwise, hollowed it out enough to place a whole chicken inside of it, seasoned the chicken and put the top half of the watermelon back on, held with skewers. They then baked it for two hours at 350. The melon pretty much wilted down, but the shell stayed intact and didn't collapse. The chicken was so tender it was falling apart and there was a bunch of juice mixed with the chicken's broth. I won't post the link to the meme. It was pretty damned racially crude with a black guy using the N word and MF about every other word, I guess we would have to wait until next watermelon season if we wanted to try it.
