Life is different here for sure. Life is slower, but there seems to be more domestic violence and overall violence. Road rage here will get you run off the road and your ass beat, if you don't get shot at the next intersection. haha. I love the weather and most of the people, but I now know why they call some of them rebels. haha.

I was reading that in Syracuse another kid was killed by a stray bullet. They have their share of serious violence in Syracuse. Then at the funeral home a fight breaks out. Imagine.

I have been taking note of the increase in violent crime in Syracuse. Especially the crime involving the shooting and killing of young kids. The damned drugs and gang activity in urban areas has gotten out of control. Here in the Tri Cities it is rumored that we have MS13 gang members active in the drug activity around here. It is said that the MS13 people are out of Charlotte and Atlanta and we are on the route North for their trafficking of cocaine, heroin, and high grade Meth out of Texas. Lately people here have been dying from the drugs laced with Fentanyl.
Thus far the nefarious activity and shootings seem to be on the Virginia side of town near the federal housing projects nd in the seedier sections of Kingsport and Johnson City. Here on the Tennessee side of Bristol we have been fortunate to have avoided most of the violent crime activity.
