Having worked in the DA's office and observed most of them in court on a routine basis, I am confident that this legal technicality will be nothing more than a wasted joke of a time. It is quite common for a case to take over 8 months to unravel. The main reason is that the defense seeks adjournment after adjournment while the defendant toys with taking a plea bargain. Every time a plea bargain is offered, like 2nd nature, the DA will say, "And the People are ready for trial if the defendant wishes to reject this plea offer." It's ingrained in my memory that when I was in a mock trial for a civil matter I said something similar and the judge side bared me and asked me if I was confused about whether I was dealing with a civil or criminal case.

Some will envision this poor, vulnerable, weak little creature being put upon by the big bad cops.
The true story is probably more like a psycho bitch flying at the cops in an uncontrolled rage, with nails and fists flailing. She then was tossed on her ass and restrained.
The female gender is not always the meek, mild and weak. A woman that takes on several cops, deserves what she gets. I probably would have been the chauvinist son of a bitch that knocked her out with a night stick, dragged her down the hall by the hair, and tossed her miserable ass in a cell. The heck with a restraint chair. Toss her a sheet and hope she hangs herself before someone posts bail.

I think this is the same woman that claimed she was abducted and held for several days...taken right out of the train station parking lot about 10 years ago. She probably did deserve to get the "mentally impaired" chair.

If she is as big of a whacko as I have heard people from up there say she is, the guy that abducted her, probably took her for a "test drive" and brought her back and dumped her back off! LOL
