We have a ways to go before we begin readying ourselves for winter, although school starts today in many area school districts. Fall is one of the most pleasant times of year here. It is a respite from the hot days, and stays pleasant for the most part right into the first part of November. Schools here get our for the summer in mid to late May and go back around now.
