Todd,
Story's been taken down from the OD and no mention on WKTV's sight?

Ok, maybe that story was taken down, but they replaced it with the same basic story.

You know I'm beginning to wonder if these politicians we have are any good. I mean Destito Arucri and his crowd sure seem to be doing well while we get the same promises over and over. Destito promises "lower taxes" a "leveled playing field" if the stopped spending money of ours NewYork WOULD be competitive!
I'm beginning to think I hate every on eof our retreat politicians. Every solution seems to involve more jobs in government and more expensive crap they buy because hey! Its new York Taxpayer's money and we need this nifty new stuff.
I have sensed a very strong increase in local unrest lately, especiallyonline so I hope it chases away the parasites or humiliates them back into less damaging means of self support.

Sorry Boomer but I have less faith than you do that shame will make them do the right thing. I seriously think that within my remaining lifetime I will see another "teaparty". It's like a good ol' boys club, and not just in Albany, but in all seats of government that I have seen. The smaller and more rural the government, one where you know your neighbors and are answerable to them, the more likely you will have some sense of responsibility, but this isn't even guaranteed. Look at the Town of Frankfort government for a prime example of blind and tone-deaf. I think our only recourse is that WE need to get up and run for office. Hell, we can't do any worse than they do. Let's take an example from Larry and take the bull(sh*t) by the horns and do this job ourselves. We can't just keep saying "vote the bums out", we need to have qualified people to run to replace the bums.
