Fatal Whitesboro Street Fire ruled incendiary WKTV News, UTICA - Utica Fire Officials say their investigation into the Whitesboro Street fire in April that killed four people revealed just what they'd hoped it wouldn't. "At the conclusion of our investigation we did rule this fire incendiary," said Chief Fire Marshal Raymond Beck. www.wktv.com/news/local/19487554.html### OK, junior fire marshals, does "incendiary" necessarily mean it was purposefully incendiary? The news writer implies the fire was set, but the quotes don't necessarily say that. Can "incendiary" just be a crack pipe gone ballistic?

I would bet my bottom dollar that someone in the house took the batteries out of the firealarm in order to have a smoke. That stuff happens alot in these types of houses. I question the type of supervision if there was any in that house. Were are talking about people who have some sever mental problems and sometimes do things that some wouldn't comprehend. There are some other apartments in the city that are potential time bombs. I feel sorry for those who died and I am sure they rest in peace.

From what the article says yes - someone's in trouble - if they can ever find them.
