I noticed in our news this morning that this young lad and his band are releasing a new CD. This boy will get your foot to tapping whether you are a big blue grass and gospel fan or not.

This amazing you fiddler is from a small four corners community near here. He has played the fiddle since the age of three and is an amazing musician.
He has played at the Grand Old Opry, playing along side Ricky Skaggs, at Dollywood, and about every gospel or blue grass festival or venue in the Southeast.
At the age of 13 he has his own very popular blue grass and gospel band. Click on the link to listen to him play Blue Moon of Kentucky. Listen to the end to hear the fast paced part of the song and some amazing fiddling from a kid that was ten years old at the time.

This is another even better example of his amazing musical talent. Click on the

I had the pleasure to have run into him and his dad one day a couple of years ago at a convenience store in Piney Flats when I stopped for gas on the way to the VA hospital in Johnson City. He is simply a wonderful and personable young Christian kid that restores a person's faith in the younger generation. I told him how much I enjoyed his music, and he invited me to listen to him play at a little country store where local gospel groups get together to jam on a couple of Saturday nights a month. I really enjoyed it. It is a small little general store and there was only about 30 people there, mostly families and friends of the musicians. There was free coffee and soda and snacks available for purchase. A box was available to give donations that are given to local children's charities. He not only plays the fiddle, he is also a talented mandolin player.
