Would someone please give me step-by-step instructions as to how to get a photo from my desktop onto Clipper's Corner?
I can upload a photo from my desktop to Photobucket, but after that, I'm lost. Once there, what do I do? (I'm going to need basic instructions)
I've done it before, but since this stroke 3 months ago I've pretty much forgotten the procedure. I'd appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks

If I remember correctly (and relying on memory is getting risky) it goes like this.
Open the image in photo bucket and copy the URL (should be in the address bar on your browser).
In Clippers use Reply not Quick Reply. I usually paste the URL in the spot where I want the image. Highlight the URL. In the little line of icons that opens at the top of the Reply box click on Insert Image. That should open a dialog box which has a line that says Insert URL. If it is already there great, otherwise paste it there. Click the button in the dialog box that says insert image.
It used to be that at that point if you switched to Preview your image would show. Now you just get a place holder until you click Create Post.
If something doesn't work you say, "Oh shoot!" click Edit and try again.

Thanks Good Question....the box that says insert image (2 over from world icon) opens a window with a Http instead of opening up to your documents which I think is what it should do. It doesn't look like any of those buttons open to computer only allows you to get a url from a third party site

I think I remember doing it directly from my computer but some people worry that it opens a back door into your computer. That may be paranoid but I don't do it anymore.
However as Ralph pointed out, we had a problem with our images stored on-line. No perfect solution.

I just delete the HTTP which for me is always in that little " image URL line" that I use to place the URL of the image I copied into my mouse pointer ( or whatever holds the URL until I paste it in the "image URL " in the " insert image box ".

okay as you can see I figured it out. Above the text box when it opens to post a reply click on the word ADDattachment in the very upper right hand corner at the top and select a file from your hard drive you want to post. (pic is Cleo on of my sisters Siamese cats now in kitty heaven ^8^ >^..^<

Yup you can use the attachment button on top right. I just put my mouse pointer on you photo above. Right clicked went down to selection and pointed to " copy image address " then clicked on the bottom above that shows the little image then clicked on that and a box opens that is labeled " Insert Image " deleted the autofill (http) right click mouse then clicked on " paste " in drop down box then Click on " Insert Image" lower right corner. and there your photo above. TRY IT. Takes longer to esplain then actually do it.

Does it give pixel options for larger images?

I'm not sure what happens next but I just dragged-and-dropped this photo (one of my favorites, by the way) into the message box, but it's small. What do I do to make it bigger?

Always a good idea Will, but it hasn't worked in this case so far.
