My stomach has been just a bit off since last night. I just did not feel well. Now, I eat fast food, but not often, and normally it does not agree with me at all. An hour after eating fast food my stomach is yelling at me. Because of that, you'd think that today I'd want nothing to do with fast food, right? Well, oddly, I wanted McDonalds! I just had to have a hamburger happy meal! The weird thing is after I ate it, I felt much better! What on earth? Why would a hamburger happy meal make an upset tummy feel better? Very, very weird!

Kim - The day I was finally released from 5 days of eating hospital food that tasted like sawdust (I had pneumonia), when my daughter and son in law brought me home they asked what I wanted for dinner.
As sick as I still was, I asked for a large Burger King Whooper, an order of Onion Rings and a large Milk Shake!!!!!! I don't think a meal tasted as good as this one did - especially after 5 days of hospital bland food - LOL!

Well, you got your three main requirements right there in one meal. You got your carbs, you got your fats, and you got your carbs. That's the formula for comfort food, Kim.

I had to fight for food after I had my son. I was in labor for 19 hours (it was induced) and finally had a c-section. During the labor they wouldn't let me eat anything other than jello and popsicles, and then after they wold only give me DEAF coffee and jello because they said I had major surgery and, therefore, couldn't eat solid food! ACK! Labor is exhausting...I needed food! I finally put up such a fuss that they brought me some real food, and I checked out of the hospital early. I couldn't stand it there anymore. I spent less than 3 days in the hospital, total, mostly because I was HUNGRY! LOL! When my son was 6 days old we drove from NC to NY for Christmas. Are we nuts or what? Recent major surgery, newborn, and a 12 hours drive. It was worth it, though!

Carbs, fats and carbs! Those ARE the main food groups! I never met a carb I didn't like! :-)
