Has anything happened yet to the girl who caused this fatality..Neighbors in that area indicate she is a spoiled and arrogant little pisspot with no regard for traffic signals or signs as well as being a speed demon. shouldnt she have been charged by now with criminally negligent homicide or manslaughter?

I have wondered the same thing Corner. I am out of touch except for what I can get from the internet, the OD, and our forum here. It seems that it has been quite a while and no news about the outcome of the investigation. It also seems that there would be no doubt as to negligence, or who was in the "wrong" as the girl ran the stop sign and broadsided the other car.
I would be interested to know what the hell is going on also. Is there a powerful attorney or some political connection holding the investigation hostage?? Inquiring minds want to know!

The vehicle was driven by Renee Rounsville, 19, of Mohawk Street, Sauquoit, who was injured in the crash. Troopers said Rounsville failed to stop at a stop sign/flashing red signal. Clipper this girl has a reputation for being in and out of rehab for a severe cocaine problem as well...The victim is Donna Donovans niece and i'm surprised the paper isn't persuing this with law enforcement. Rumor has it the perps parents have money and connections and have consistently used same to keep her out of problems with law enforcement. This cannot go without severe consequences as she is on the loose and probaby still driving.

Yeah, I knew from the original articles that she was related to Jerry Donovan. Sad case for sure. Maybe the OD doesn't want to get involved because of Donavan's relationship to the girl that was killed.
I can't believe that there is enough influence in the whole damned world to keep something like this out of the paper, and out of court. I would sure think that at the minimum tickets would have been issued and a statement would have been posted by the state police.

Clipper, you'd be amazed at what does NOT make it to the od. Just read about some of the stuff on strikeslip's blog or concerned citizen's blog. If the disgrace was not so biased in its news reporting, half the new hartford town officials would be sitting in prison for white-collar crimes.

No Doubt about that Swimmy. As long as Donna Donovan lives in the town of NH there will be biased coverage or no coverage at all of NH political issues.
I still wonder if part of the lack of news stories, is due to some descretion legally, because of the family connection with Jerry Donovan.

I doubt there is any concern for legal discretion. I can't see how there would be a conflict of interest. It's news that's relevant to the public. It's the public's right to know. The only legal discretion I can think of is that they are receiving enormous kickbacks from the town and if they reported anything about the town, it would be uncovered and they'd be in trouble. But other than such a scenario, and i'm not saying it is true, I can't think of any "legal discretion."
It piggybacks against the disgrace's notion of fair, balanced, accurate reporting.
