Roasted Chickpeas Sometimes the simplest foods are the best; like these roasted chickpeas tossed with olive oil, salt and a little paprika; drain and rinse one can of chickpeas dry them on a towel then toss them in a bowl with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt and paprika. Place them on a baking sheet and roast them in a 400F oven for about 30 minutes or until they are crunchy and golden brown. This is a nice healthy snack with a dose of protein. Put down those chips.
