Ingredients: •1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil •1 small onion, minced I omit onion it is up to you •3 cloves garlic, minced •1 (28-ounce) can Imported Italian Crushed Tomatoes or San Marzano( pass through food mill) •Italian flat-leaf parsley, chopped 2 Tablespoons •Salt and pepper •4 or 5 large basil leaves Directions: rip up just before putting in sauce In a large saucepan, sauté onion in olive oil, until soft and translucent, on medium to low heat. Add garlic and sauté until golden, careful not to overcook or burn. Add tomatoes to saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, lower heat and cover with a lid. Cook for about 20 minutes on medium heat. Stir in parsley. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes. Add basil cook another 5 min.

Just a photo Alan? Come on... where's the recipe? I'm always interested in how other people prepare their sauce. (Not being Italian, mine sometimes is close, but I never get the cigar)
Maybe this one is the perfect sauce.
