Its not even showing me the tools to turn the image to reading. Back to the drawing board. Edit......okay I rotated the image and you can read and view it. ( w/o having to stand on your head)

It opened OK although it was rotated 90 degrees. I'll add a couple things to his info. There are now LED bulbs with multiple color temps. I would like to play with one but I'm waiting for the price to come down a bit more.
Also last winter I bought a 3-way bulb for the reading lamp next to the couch in our family room. One cold day in January I slid into the seat and reached up to switch on the reading lamp. One static spark and the bulb was dead. I'll stick with CFLs in that lamp for now.

Okay the article explains the wattage but still I am replacing lightbulbs like crazy. I bought a pack of 4 60w and 2 that are 3 way. They last a couple months then blow. Before the change whether a 60w or a 3 way they lasted me over a year before I ever had an issue of blowout. I wrote to Wegman's and they said they will contact the vendor. This is crazy.

What type are they? I found that CFLs became less long lasting as they became more compact, curly Qs vs the older loops. When we redid our bathrooms last year I replaced a lot of bulbs, 6 in the kitchen and 10 in bathrooms. So far I haven't replaced any. The kitchen will be an interesting experiment. We have 2 ceiling fans each with a 3 bulb fixture. Due to my nearsightedness and cataract status I need bright light. "My" end of the kitchen has 3 daylight white LEDs. Barb's end has 3 softer white CFLs.

It might also matter if you bought the bulbs in a dollar store, as it does with batteries. Also, some would warn against Amazon. The claim there is they are selling downgraded merchandise from the back door of Chinese manufacturers.
We have rapidly lost our virtual guarantees of high quality in American market places. Such used to be suppored by the long view practiced by American companies. These days, however, when executives look no farther ahead than when they will leave for their next career step in another company, there is no long view.

my 3 way is GE reveal 50/100/150 and my 60 watt equivalent is called TCP (750 lumens) this was suggested to me when Wegmans gave me a coupon for the quivalent of the bulb I bought before...I thought it was their brand but looking at the box now just looks like the name of the product.
