Today is the perfect day to make a pot of chicken soup. House is starting to smell with the aroma. No snow yet but its ccccoooold out. We are expected to get some later. I found a recipe I saved in my files that is Chicken soup with dumplings. Still deciding pastina or dumplings.

LOL I made Homemade Chicken Soup on Saturday. I put pastina in mine. Liquid gold!

I like chicken soup with some texture to it. I use the wide egg noodles from Meullers. I love chicken and dumplings but I always make so much soup that I have never known how the dumplings would hold up in the leftover soup.

Pastina won out. Like Clipper I was wondering about the leftover hold up.
