www.wktv.com/news/new-york-state/Cuomo-releases-his-three-casino-plan-210299301.htmlPutting casinos all over the state will generate a few bucks for the state coffers, but will hurt the recreational casino gambler in the long run. The Turning Stone doesn't pay off like it used to before the Vernon Downs Racino opened. When there are more casinos, the individual casino will get less business and will naturally pay less in winnnings. They can say what they want about the fairness and the random number generators etc. I don't believe that they don't have a way to control the payouts. There are days when the casinos pay more than other days. After a big weekend, Mondays never are a good day to play at the casino we go to in N.C. Turning Stone used to at least pay off often enough to keep a person interested. Now you can play for hours ( if you are foolish enough to do so) and never hit anything significant. You have to KNOW that if the state is going into the gambling business on a large scale, and is going to take a commission off the top, there is going to be corruption, right from the very beginning, as is any other venture that they have a finger into. SOMEONE is going line their pockets in Albany, and if you are a friend of Andy's, you may be one of the one's to reap the benefits.

Is it true that senior citizen collecting Social Security has to report earnings. Is that any earnings or just over a certain amount! A lady I know who didn't win anything but did get a settlement from Walmart after falling in the ice and fracturing her hip. Social Security stopped payment until she spends the money as did Medicaid. Now she is crippled and can't walk or drive her car. She just gave the car away.

Here is the official word from the Social Security Administration. www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10069.pdfSorry about the crummy formatting. They were probably busy making sure that no Tea Partiers qualified.
