How much did they cost? He's a funny F ing SOB but only for so much money. Anything over 40 bucks and it better come with a bottle of whatever it is that he's drinking.

I like Louis CK, Kevin James, Lewis Black, Dane Cook, Jim Gaffigan, Robert Schimmel, Carlos Mencia, George Carlin, Mitch Hedberg (when he was alive), among a list of others.
If you've seen Louis CK's standup routine "Shameless" then I didn't even need to add the rest. Roll on the floor funny. But you have to be able to laugh at yourself and the world around you. Up tight folks should not watch him.

I paid $45 for the mid-range ticket, which means I'm about half way back from the stage. Tickets down front were $65. I really didn't think that was unreasonable, but my sister did and she's going with me even though she's never heard of him before! There were also $25 tickets for balcony seating.

a little over priced if you ask me but that's me. I'm cheap when it comes to stuff like that.....when Seinfield came, my friends went and bought tickets for somewhere between $80-$120. Insane. What's the point? It's not like seeing someone talk is that much of an experience.
Cue Seinfeld.... "What's the deal with these ticket 'pry says'? I mean really, what's the deeeeal?"
At least Ron White should add in a few expletives to make it worth your $50 bucks. I think at those prices he should be waiting at the door when you leave handing out signed autographs on a poster of him.

Dane Cook???
You admit to liking that guy??? I watched half of good luck chuck.. I had to shut it off cuz Cook is so friggin annoying.. It would have taken jessica Alba to be full frontal naked in that movie to offset how horriable he is...
Dane Cook is Gay.. I am telling you this becuse its important. He tries not to be gay really hard when he acts or does stand up....
Thats what makes him annoying.
Jduges... first time I went and saw Metallica, it cost me 15 bucks for seats.... The dollar menu days are over kid...

Now for the St Petersburg ballet. Oh and the new marque is fantastic. Perfect blend of modern/historical. At least thats my opinion

I saw Dane Cook on Comedy Central the other day. I thought he was entertaining. My favorites are George Carlin, Chris Rock, Dennis Leary, and Eddie Lizard.

I saw Jerry Seinfeld at the Syracuse War Memorial some time around 2001-2002. It was sold out, but my sister found tickets on e-Bay. No doubt they were pricey.
I don't go to shows or concerts very often, so I don't mind paying a little more.
Concerned: Did you like that 'down front'? I guess I have lived in Watertown too long! That's definitely a Watertown phrase, along with "I tell you what!"
LosJibaros: The first concert I ever went to was in 1980, and the ticket cost was $8.00. Bought the ticket at Parkway Drugs on Culver Ave. It was Journey with the Babys opening for them at the Utica Aud!

Jibaros-Whether or not he's gay has nothing to do with whether or not I find him funny. I never said he was a great actor or even an actor I enjoy. I do find his stand up to be pretty funny shit and I don't mind saying so. Not the comedy central stuff but check out some of his old CD's. Hilarious.
Also find it funny you'd rag on me about Dane Cook being gay and then in the same post mention you went to see what could be considered one of the "Gayest" metal bands of all time. Or should I say corporate rock?
Dude remember, you're the guy who told me the newer Dukes of hazard movie was "F#@%!#g Hilarious!"

First of all, Dane Cook being gay only makes him pathetic to watch as his inner struggles with his gayness and his denial of such gayness make him tough to watch... Metallica was opening for Ozzy at such time mentioned and they werent even signed to a major yet... so at the time of mentioning they werent corporate rock... when the hell do you know.. you listen to snoop or something anyways.. Last... Dukes of Hazard movie was funny. Just for being such a dick today, i am going to post a picture of you so everybody can see what you look like.

The only good thing metalica has ever given us was a great entrance song for the best closer of all time!!!!
Other than that, they've always been trash, even when they opened for Ozzy.
Be pretty damn cool if the guy you showed in the picture actually did listen to Snoop. Be like Kingpin 2 or something like that. I think we can both agree that Randy Quaid is a funny mother f(shut your mouth).

Ron White's performance was hilarious! I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to attend. It was a sold-out show.
I thought the Stanley looked nice, but I've always thought it looked nice. The seats are exactly the same; I can tell you that much! I'm sorry to say that I did not take note of the new lighting.
I really thought I'd see an article in the OD yesterday or today (of course today regarding Ron White's sold-out performance, I'm only seeing the on-line version), but there is nothing.
