Very sad indeed Denise. In my opinion it is time to bring ALL our brave soldiers home from there. May Sgt. Rodriguez rest in peace. His family and fellow soldiers are in our thoughts and prayers.
We have a member serving over there too. JC Cummings is serving in Afghanistan. He has already completed a couple of tours in Iraq. I keep him in my prayers for a safe return also, along with my young friend Brad Simon, the young marine on his second tour there. God bless ALL our troops.

I find it very touching the way the soldiers were lined up to receive Sgt Rodriguez. If I am free between 2 and 2:30 tomorrow I may join the Carthage community in honoring Sgt Rodriguez as his funeral procession passes through town. Public requested to attend funeral procession for slain Fort Drum soldier www.watertowndailytimes.com/article/20120728/NEWS03/707289907/0/NEWS09There was another soldier, Sgt. Jose J. Reyes, 24, of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico who was also killed in the same IED attack.
