Bush unveils $3 trillion spending planI'm getting sick of all the outright hatred for the President. Instead of mocking it merely because it came from President Bush, why not propose your own ideas for making it better. I thought you Congress people wanted to work together with him. I guess when you said that in your response speech you really meant, "cave to our demand and become our puppet." Start doing something other than political posturing. I noticed none of the democratic presidential candidates were quoted with their responses. Come on, if you all want change and want to listen to the American Peoples' cry for cooperation, then start by ending the quick-to-criticize reactions to everything the President does and start working toward improving what he has provided. I'm just as eager as the next person to see the President leave office in January, but that doesn't mean you can't try to do something good for this country until then.

See, swimmy, your still using the old-fashioned definition of cooperation. You know, the foolish idea that both sides give up something to come to an agreement? That went out of style sometime after Watergate.
Today, congressional cooperation is defined as: we got the hammer, bend over.

Ah, well that certainly explains a lot.
