Weather.com is saying Irene could deal us some of the worst hurricane weather in fifty years. I'm not sure how bad things will get in the Mohawk Valley (probably not bad), but here in the Catskills and especially in New York City they're already evacuating those most at risk. A storm surge of over 20 feet could flood lower Manhattan. Lunarticks is following the weather. Not a forum, ' Lunarticks is now a Blog. You can comment on stories and even post stories if you want to become an "author." (your own or news leads) lunarticks.blogspot.com

I just realized that some of the newer members might not know that the best local weather station is found here: www.cnyweather.com/It's run by Westmoguy, a member of the Clipper's family. You may recognize his web cam shot from its regular use on WKTV.
