I just read that the boy from New Hartford that was struck by a car as he exited the school bus, has taken a turn for the worse and has been downgraded to "critical condition" once more.
For those of us that believe in prayer, we need to pray for this young lad and his family, and for those of us that don't pray, just a few simple good thoughts for his recovery could be sent his way.

Are you sure? I just read this article that was updated 2 hours ago and it says he's getting better. I hope this article is right! www.uticaod.com/homepage/x126918359/Hospital-says-teen-is-in-critical-conditionSYRACUSE — The condition of a 14-year-old New Hartford student who was hit by a minivan after exiting a school bus continues to improve, his mother said. Eighth-grader Jared Chontow was not in critical condition any more, said Patti Demma, his mother. "He's doing very well," she said. "He's improving every day." Chontow had been listed in fair condition earlier this week, according to a nursing supervisor. Chontow, a Perry Junior High School student, was hit April 20 by a vehicle driven by New Hartford Senior High School sophomore Zeeshan Akhtar on Oxford Road, police said. Akhtar was issued tickets for failure to stop for a stopped school bus, allowing another minor in the car with him when he was just issued his junior driver’s license, and failure to use headlights while his windshield wipers were in use, police said.

Hmmm. That is wonderful news, and typical reporting for the OD. I didn't make up that story, and I DID see it on their page a around noon time.
In their typically undependable manner, they simply took down the first story and put up the good news from Mom, with no explanation as to why they put up the earler doom and gloom article.
God bless the young fellow. I am glad that the information was erroneous, for his sake.
I notice that since they posted the update, they took down the comment section so they can't be slammed for the erroneous article.

I agree with you Concerned. Being a new driver and knowing it was his fault I'm sure this will stay with him for the rest of his life. Both need our prayers.

I am also praying for the kid that was driving the car. I am damn sure he didn't hit him on purpose. I just don't believe that kids should be able to drive to and from school, or that they should be turned loose with a car at that early stage in their driving experience.
The sad thing is that the boy broke several laws and was cited for several violations. If the injured 8th grader were to pass away, the driver will have to face all sorts of charges, for simply being young and inattentive. One second of stupidity has caused a major problem for a lot of people, and a lot of pain for an innocent kid.
The "prayer priority" is first for the full recovery of the injured boy, and secondly for the boy driving the car. The one error in judgement may effect the whole rest of his life, as well as the life of the injured boy.

Clipper, you brought up something that I always wondered about. Does God have a "prayer-priority" list?

Only God knows, haha. Hey, he is omnipotent, and all encompassing, so he may just answer them all at the same time. All I know is that I have been on the receiving end of some real gifts from him, in the line of answered prayers. It has been said that he answers prayer in his own time, so I guess that could be taken to mean that he "prioritizes" in some manner or another.

Haha. That is what I was talking about. He may have a reason for keeping your little butt on the couch. You tend to be TOO active and maybe he decided it was time for a rest, and the only way he could keep your little butt down was to cripple your foot temporarily, LOL.

Hey Clip, Speaking of "prayer priority" I wonder if some how you didn't have something to do with bobbbiez foot? I'm thinking because it's mowing season and much easier to drive the mower looking straight ahead instead of over your shoulder.
