I just spent an hour listening to a Barbara Streisand concert on CBS. She turned 67 yesterday, but she damn sure doesn't look it. Her voice has held up outstandlingly well also.
They just don't seem make music that interests me anymore, other than an occasional country ballad. I guess it just sounds like a typical old fart, but I just don't see any of the rock of today, surviving the tests of time, as the 50's and 60's music has.
I love show tunes, and big band music, and I even listen to some classical now and again, but I can't find any rock on the radio that is worth listening to, so my truck radio is tuned to talk radio most of the time, haha.

Just love that girl. Could listen to her and watch her sing for hours. Great singer and entertainer. One of the best! ps: Clipper, I think her name is spelled Barbra.

You are correct Bobbbiez. I was spelling it the same as my ex-wife's name. NO COMPARISON! MY EX COULD NOT CARRY A TUNE IN A BASKET!

Probably wasn't "carrying a tune in a basket" that attracted you to her anyways. Sh*t, we all have our own songs to sing on that note. ;D

I like the way Streisand sings Evergreen. Everything else, not so much. She's a little whiny for me.
