Just a note from Nashville. We are here for the weekend for Kathy to bowl in a tournament. We are having a ball. Went Ernest Tubbs famous record shop yesterday to buy CD's, and to the huge outlet mall where Opryland amusement park used to be.
Tornado warnings all afternoon, and on our way back to the hotel, the sirens were blowing and some of the storm clouds had tails hanging, but never touched down. Wind blew windows out of stores and did a lot of damage, but we were lucky enough to be safe. I put the nose of our van up on the sidewalk in front of the room, in case of large hail, so it would not break the windshield. All is well, and weather is fine this AM.
I will be home tonight, and back to my favorite pastime of hanging out here at "The Corner". Have a good day all!

Whew, it was close, and quite nerve wracking, LOL. Nothing touched down, but straight line winds from super cell thunderstorms blew windows out of shopping centers and put the power out for thousands.
Today was good. I dropped Kathy and the girls off at the bowling alley, and then went downtown and checked out the Ryman Auditorium (the old Grand ole Opry hall), Cadillac Ranch, the Hard Rock, and a couple of souvenir stores. I went to an RV show at Opry Mills outlet mall, and then to the Apple Barn for fresh hot donuts to have with coffee on the way home today.
It was a good trip other than the tornadoes bouncing about, and the wind keeping us in our hotel last evening.
It is always good to get back home and sleep in my own bed though, haha.
