All,
Spoke to my dad this afternoon and he seems to be doing well considering. He said the pain in his leg seems to be gone and the only pain he has is in the back where they did the surgery. I am confident that he will make a full recovery and be back on the alleys in no time making sure to throw that ball down and in and make the pins explode as he has been doing for so many years.
I am really thankful that he has all of you folks in here to lean on and depend on for support. I live in Ohio and am not able to be around him nearly as much as I would like to be, but knowing he has this support network of friends makes it easier.
Thanks to all of you and please continue to keep my dad as well as his little buddy " critter" in your prayers.
Rick

Gotta love that picture Ralph. Unfortunately, I had no such luck. I had some really nice nurses, but none that looked like that. I had one nurse on nights that looked like Queen Latiffa. She was a real nut.
When I first got back in the room from recovery, I had to stand up and go to the bathroom. told her to just hold the urinal and I would hang it over the side of the bed. She told me that Kathy already told her that that was not the story and that she would help me to hunt for it if I could not find it in the hospital gown. LOL.
She is like a dark skinned Bobbbiez when it comes to busting on me at the bowling alley. I always give her my books when I finish reading them. She reads every night when she goes to bed just like I do, and we trade books all the time.

Hey Clipper, maybe I could have matched your nurse's "dark skin" if I was allowed to take my trip. Then you'd have two of us to contend with. She sounds like a very smart and observant woman. Happy you're feeling better.
