Your NY governor has made our local news on a couple of occasions recently.
Yesterday she was said to have created a program that she intends to implement in early 2025 that would have her hiring illegal immigrants to fill state government jobs, using YOUR tax dollars to pay illegal immigrants who actually have no right to be here. One would only hope that the unions and enraged taxpayers step up and squash that nonsense.
I would say it is quite alarming that her assaults on the wallets of NY taxpayers has made the news in Tennessee more than once.

I would say it is quite alarming that her assaults on the wallets of NY taxpayers has made the news in Tennessee more than once. A few yrs ago the Thruway Authority was having a hard time filling job openings for people to work as mechanics. I think it had something to do with the fact that a heavy equipment tech has to walk in the door with at least $10,000 worth of tools with a starting pay of about $16/hr. To add insult to injury Cuomo screwed state workers on their benefit package including a new pension tier for new hires which is nothing more then a lousy 401k. And the state wonders why they can't find qualified people. Thank Andy The Perv. I'm no fan of Hochul but if she wants to hire immigrants it's because nobody WANTS those jobs, some which are menial labor. |

Our Gov. has finally lost it. She just announced that she will be deploying the National Guard to guard the NYC subways, and to do this a Guardsman will "search through your bags for weapons" on the platforms and at the turnstiles!!! OK.

If she is under some delusional impression that she can champion the move that is going to conquer subway crime by putting national guardsmen on the platforms she truly has lost her marbles. How long will it be before one of the city's many gangs gathers together a crew and ambushes a national guard soldier and stabs, shoots, beats up, or pushes them in front of a train?

Wow! Still lots of time for her and NYC's mayor to do their damage. Here is another example of the ridiculousness of her catch and release bail policies.
City of Rome, NY Police Department
On Thursday, February 8, 2024, at about 2:13 AM, patrol officers of the Rome Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Culverton Road and River Road. The operator gave a false name and was eventually identified as Gary L. Newell (33 yrs. old) of Rome. Newell had an active Rome City Court Bench Warrant and a Non-Driver ID only, with a suspended status.
Newell was taken into custody. As a result, the vehicle was towed. A subsequent inventory was completed of the vehicle. After the inventory was complete, Newell was found to be in possession of a quantity of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine, along with a functional digital scale, a ledger, and a quantity of U.S. currency.
In addition to Newell’s active Rome City Court Bench Warrant, he was also charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, False Personation, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree. Newell was booked, processed, and subsequently released on his own recognizance after arraignment.
I am sure that he is back out there trying to sell enough dope to cover his legal costs when he DOES go to court.

I'm more concerned with the crime spree that Trump was engaged in (such as his coup attempt) & the deranged chaos he has planned for us if he's reelected, then I am with what's going on in NYC suburbs.
NYS will survive another couple years of Hichul but the Country won't make it thru another 4 years of Putin's chaos agent, Trump.

I think the writings on the wall. Biden has no idea if he is alive and is to liberal so I will not vote for him. Trump brings some chaos as well as some freshness to government weeding out those who are no longer needed to serve for various reasons. After much thought Trump gets my vote. I wish Halley stayed in but government needs huge changes and we must stop migrants into this country legal or illegally just end it now. Ukraine and Israel must be solved in a way that will not spark a world war. I say cut the monies given to support these wars and use that money to reduce rents and mortgages for middle income and middle high end earners. Finally make Medicare for all and totally free from cradle to death and increase the amount of money social security pays to bury a deceased civilian of the great USA. Make English the official language spoken in the USA. We need greater isolationist awareness. Pull out of NATO. Eliminate the EPA from the federal government and make that the problem of each State. Let the federal government control the USA Mail and Military all else the States can handle on their own. Make America Great Again.
