The automatic system dumped in building 101 at Griffiss once and covered the floor of the hanger with a couple of feet or more of bubbles. The difference being that it was aqueous film forming foam which has since become been declared a carcinogen and health hazard when it gets into the aquafer. I had left the fire department before that, but I was told that they flushed all that foam into the floor drains. It is no wonder that the government ended up replacing polluted wells all over Floyd.
